How would you feel if your partner tells you that it’s hard to be attracted to you now and it’s not the same because you’ve gained some weight. Then say that they just care about your health? Would you be hurt as well? I wouldn’t even call myself fat..

I would leave. Gaining some weight is normal in a healthy relationship, and if they aren’t attracted to you anymore because of it, then they don’t actually love you

Leave because thats not a mature person who actually loves you

Idk tbh because I never cared for that and tbh a partner a true one shouldnt word it that way. Like it most likely is affecting them also but they can definitely try to explain the attraction a bit more yk.

Unfortunately if you gaining a little weight makes you less lovable they never liked you to begin with and if they did they liked you for the wrong reasons. You shouldn’t be with someone who bases all attraction solely on looks.

well honestly it depends on how they worded it, my bf told me this gently about a year ago and it was my wake up call

Definitely wasn’t worded nicely to be a wake up call. Seems more like it was a lose weight because I don’t like what you look like anymore
