The insecure part, eh that could be overcome. But the difference of them wanting kids and you don’t… now that is something to worry about. They deserve to have kids if that’s what they want for themselves.

I mean yeah you shouldn’t waste each others time especially when you know they want kids and you don’t it would just be pointless to stay together
