Yeah he def gotta go. It’s possible to be realistic while still having goals and dreams (you’d be doing both simultaneously, for example when people work to cover expenses while they study or people in the arts work while they get to where they want to be in their area, etc.). And sometimes to reach a dream you have to do things that may not make sense and get out of your comfort zone. Yeah he’s definitely just holding you back. He’s ok with not making changes and you want to make changes you

Guys are simply not compatible because you want different things from life. Don't stay with him if you're not happy just because of how long you've been with him that's the worst thing you can do.

I have never even considered quitting my job I love it and it’s rewarding but it’s just not what little me ever had pictured. I truly feel if I made one more step towards my dream he will leave. I depend on him for money the same way he depends on me. We also had a kid in the mix.
