Did he break up with you? If he did why would you want someone who decided to leave? What would make you trust them to stay if they come back? If he didn’t continue to choose you, why would you continue to choose him?

It wasn’t a messy break up. He did break up with me, but not for any bad reason. Ik it’s strange an doesn’t sound real but if you knew him you would understand. He’s a really really good guy, and we ended on good terms. Great term actually. After he broke up with me, we still hung out everyday. We were best friends for years. He wanted to get back together but I would say I wasn’t ready. That was like 4-5 years ago, so it’s all over now. It’s just strange since he was my first love.

I know it sounds hypocritical, but the reason we stopped being friends was because I started dating someone. We’re still together 2.5 years later, but it’s gone down hill. We’ve had so many talks but it’s just not going to work. So it’s not been easy with my ex just now getting another gf. He’s never dated anyone after me till now. It just didn’t feel right idk.
