Wear whatever you want. Him saying he’d prefer to be there is just saying that he finds you really attractive in said attire and would prefer to be present having fun with you

I send mine fit checks when I go out (we’re long distance) and he loves to see, plus I check in with him through the night just bc I want to let him know whats up and tell him any drama lol
