This is rude. If he cares about you he should be patient. If it’s something you’re struggling e that could be done faster the least he can do is teach you a better way. Don’t rush me.

You should set him up with hard problems he won’t be able to solve.

Talk to him about this. And if you are capable of solving them, don't make it a problem. Talking is always the way you should firgure these things out though and if he doesn't want to accept that you may be slower to solving them then he can fuck off
