I was in your position and it really ruined my mental health. How long are you willing to wait? It’s not fair to you. And the longer you wait, the more they will think their behavior is okay. You deserve exactly what you want. It’s hard to leave the comfort of being with someone you’ve known for so long, but the pain does pass! It will only hurt more the longer you remain unhappy. And there is always the possibility of reconnecting, if they show they’ve changed
