Asked my boyfriend how much he spent on me for Christmas so I had an idea for budget. He said he spent about 150 and I ended up finding all my gifts on sale amounting to 60 dollars. I feel used rn 😑

My bf is currently seeking therapy for his lying behavior so I completely understand your frustration. The issue isn’t how much he spent it’s the fact that he lied about it. It’s exhausting

Not saying you don’t have the right to be upset, he still lied to you, however were the gifts thoughtful and meaningful to you? Sometimes it matters less how much someone spent and more if they put genuine thought into it. If you don’t care as much ab that though and he truly didn’t even put that effort in, FUCK HIS LYING ASS!!

Why does it matter how much? Okay he lied. How would you feel if he said $60?

It doesn’t matter how much it matters that he lied lol.

What compelled you to look up the prices if it didn’t matter? What if he bought it full price at the time? How do you know for sure he didn’t drop $150

I don’t really see it as such a big deal.

You don’t think it’s a big deal that he lied about how much he spent so I’d spend more…
