LDR for almost 6 years. It doesn't get easier until you get better about making plans for the next time, but even then it's still not easy.

I’m kinda in a similar sitch, we broke up for college but I asked him if he wanted to try so we kinda have been but everytime I say goodbye when I see him it hurts and I feel empty. The only thing that helps is if you guys talk in the daily

Ugh. An important detail is we were NOT long distance for our first year of dating so this is still pretty recent. It felt like the good ol’ days for a week and now it’s back to my reality
