In 2019, Donald Trump launched a global initiative to end the criminalization of homosexuality in 70 countries in which it is currently illegal. Donald Trump appointed the first openly gay cabinet member who served as his ambassador in Germany. A better question would be how could people who are being murdered for being gay in countries with actual oppression oppose Trump?
