Have you tried contacting him and not gotten a reply, or just hoping to hear from him prior to first date day? The later I wouldn’t worry about. He will get with you that morning. The former I’m not so sure

I think I don’t have to worry about him for sure, but I tested him once too, and he responded. However, I was frustrated because I wanted him to text me sooner rather than later. Just be like “Hi”
