Scales are banned in my house and I ask to not be weighed at the doctor for this very reason

You can have someone you trust hide it or take it for a while! Or put things on top of it so it’s more of an inconvenience to get to

i have it in my notes to never tell me what my weight is but they dont see it or dont care everytime 🙃
