
i’ve been struggling with the same thing for a while and i also gained 30 pounds. i started treatment and started prozac. its not for everyone but its really helped me with controlling the impulse to eat. i dont really even think about food anymore and when i do think about binging its been a lot easier to tell myself no. because of that its been a lot easier to cook healthier foods that keep me full longer and while i haven’t really lost any weight i do notice a huge difference. like im way
less bloated and inflamed when during binging i constantly felt and looked like i was. i think what kept me in the cycle for so long was thinking stuff like “ive already gained 30 pounds it cant get any worse i might as well keep eating” blah blah blah because i think we convince ourselves its not worth it to stop binging because you wont notice weight changes right away. it’s important to stay healthy, be kind to yourself, and set realistic goals. i tried to stop binging on my own for 2 years
