Ok so I don’t like the way anime portrays women, and I find fandoms relating to it cringy and fans weird. But I liked some shows as a teen, so I’m thinking of giving it another try?

you should really try watching the Studio Ghibli films by Hayao Miyazaki they're amazing, i usually also don't like Anime but for example chihiro or my neighbor totoro are really good

i dont like the oversexualization of characters in anime in general, its just so rampant it even affects the characters who are minors
