I can’t believe there are people calling her racist 😭 I would’ve been confused too

I can’t believe so many people are actually offended and calling her a racist. You have to be so fucking soft to be upset by that

i agree, if someone started making a random noise that i didn’t know out of no where i’d think its strange too. i do think she could’ve handled it better after they said it was apart of their culture but at the same time she seemed genuinely confused

Honestly it’s performative victimization. She’s softly playing piano and someone is hooting and hollering. Not a time to be disruptive

I think people kinda took it to the heart I think she was genuinely confused on why someone was doing that during her performance

Honestly people need to stop acting like every celeb they don’t like who makes a mistake or maybe isn’t the best person to ever exist is the devil and evil, esp female celebs. Such black and white thinking. It’s ok to just not like someone.

Someone did a disruptive Arabic wedding call during a quiet part of her Coachella set and she was confused saying she “didn’t like it” and now people are saying she’s Islamiaphobic and racist

Even if it’s a part of their culture, doing it during a quiet moment isn’t appropriate. The culture thing is just an excuse

i completely agree that interrupting a quiet moment is a bit rude but at the same time it’s also coachella(which is known to be rowdy and crazy) shes not performing at the grammys or smt more formal. what i meant in my og comment is that i understand her reaction but i also understand why some people could interpret it as her being rude. different cultures express things in different ways and that’s ok but assuming that everyone would automatically know what that means is the problem.

But she also could’ve done it a different way maybe more nicer but I really think she didn’t mean it like that and people now a days are very soft but too call her racist is crazy she was confused

And every celeb they like they will defend and give the benefit of the doubt but if they don’t like them then the worst must always be true of them no matter what and they will buy into it all

I get that different cultures express things in different ways but it was an American concert in America performing American music by an American artist, of course ululating during a quiet part of the set is gonna be seen as weird and rude because that is weird and rude here

i understand where you’re coming from but america is full of different cultures and people. like i said before, i do think people are taking this way out of proportion. however, just because we are in america doesn’t mean everyone has to act like/be a traditional “american”. people should be able to express their cultures and traditions but should also understand that not everyone will understand or accept it.

that was their way of showing excitement and if they want to do that at a festival, they should be able to do that. saying that someone can’t do something harmless, such as making a noise, simply because “we don’t do that in america” is like saying you can’t speak other languages here. again, i don’t think sabrina should be getting hate but neither should the people that did that either.
