It’s actually scary- I’m not talking about overweight celebs who are losing weight. But so many ppl who were already skinny are now scarily thin like you can see bones you shouldn’t be able to see. I’m actually scared for them- and for society cuz we’re already seeing skinny girls being called bigger if they’re not unhealthily skinny

Body positivity ≠ willingly being obese and endangering your health. There’s nothing wrong with people losing weight and getting healthier. Wish I could lose weight as fast as they do. I miss being able to run for more than 10 seconds at a time, and going on roller coasters. We can’t be encouraging obesity

Having high amounts of fat and having a sedentary lifestyle directly correlates to health issues like heart disease

you do realize celebrities are losing weight in ways that are so extraordinarily unhealthy, right? like whatever they’re… using… is going to cause health issues much quicker than being “willingly obese”

Being fat, even if not obese, is unhealthy. It doesn’t mean you’re a lesser human, but it isn’t healthy.

No fucking way you just said fat ≠ obese 😭. You’re telling me someone that’s 5 foot 6 and weighs 300 pounds isn’t morbidly obese?

Haven’t seen any health issues at all yet lmao. If you eat right while losing weight it won’t cut into muscle mass, which is the only health issue you’ll find

5ft 6 & 300lbs is obese, 5ft 6 and 160 is *technically* fat and not obese and may be healthy

You can be fat while also not being obese at the same time. While we can’t encourage obesity, you can’t tell me the stick thin that’s becoming ‘in’ rn (I.e Ariana grande) is good. Or that getting everyone to be so insecure, they feel like they need a drug to ‘fit in’? That’s significantly more damaging on people as a society, and children’s self images. This is a snowball. Lose weight, yes. With ozempic being the face of it? Super unhealthy thin? Hell no.

Also, they have not done FULL, proper long term testing on the use of ozempic off label for weight loss. So many people are already seeing health issues, and it’s only increasing, with no real look at the long term effects it may have.
