As a leftist who was raised catholic and from Boston I never hated the pope, I did grow to hate the foundations of the institution he is embedded in. Him in particular has not had bad views as a pope but the Catholic Church has been the ground for a lot of pain.

Well..yeah, you’re right. This guy believes in helping people. REALLY helping people, not just empty platitudes and lip service to God so he can afford a private jet. And he’s in a position of power. That’s..pretty cool in my book.
