His ratings were already declining so bad fyi, TV networks won’t keep a show running if much longer if the ratings are this bad. Likely his words was what got ABC to finally pull plug but his ratings were already dying.

Let's not do the authoritarian apologetics here. Earlier this year Disney/ABC had already paid Trump over $15 million and capitulated to garner favor. This is another act of obeisance by Disney/ABC to ensure their next merger goes through.

Brendan Carr did it for him. The density and clarity that you lack (which just may just be willful ignorance) is astounding. Trump himself said after Colbert’s announcement that Kimmel and Fallon are next. Silencing and censoring comedy and satire is in the old facist playbook, next come our individual rights.
