1) okay yeah i do get your points i gotta admit that but the first thing is that billie originally said that you can't love animals if you eat them and that's just true cause you won't hurt something or someone you love... second thing is omnivore does mean to eat plants and meat however animals that are omnivore can just eat that animal...

2)for example a lion hunts a zebra and eats it or a cat hunts a mouse and eats it, however with humans it's kinda different cause we can't just go up to a pig or a cow for example we can't just eat those animals with our bare hands and teeth, so therefore we have to have slaughterhouses where animals are tortured in the worst ways possible. In nature omnivore animals don't have slaughterhouses or anything like that they just eat what they have to eat in order to survive.

3)Also animals don't eat one animal and have the other as a pet cause that's also kinda weird that we have animals that we love and animals that we eat that just doesn't make sense. Anyways we might be omnivore but people who are vegan don't live at risk so that proves that we in fact do not need to eat meat to survive like animals.

5)it's an animal that has a number instead of a name and is just raised to be eaten one day, and that's just sad cause while you're eating that pig on your plate at the same time you're petting your cat or dog and tell them that you love them and that's just unfair.

I took an environmental science class ran by a vegan teacher and I think she had the best stance on veganism. This stuff like Billie is doing is not the answer. Veganism is a personal choice. Instead of acting like every human should have to be vegan, we should advocate for not over consuming meat and that if you have the means to, not purchasing factory farmed meat which we all esp after watching videos can agree more is unethical

Also you can pet your dog or cat and still be an omnivore, even dogs can eat chicken and beef and show affection for us and other animals and leave them alone

oh please do some actual research billie is literally constantly looking out and donating for animals, at her concert venues she only gives out vegan food and it's also not a "privileged take" considering a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle is definitely less expensive than eating meant. Also please do some research yourself cause i'm pretty sure that you have a phone and can google about those things and if you have to eat meat for your health and want to replace it you can also go see a doctor...

Well no because she hasn’t posted anything but pictures of herself on her ig and 2 stories that expire in 24hrs. And no shade but if she’s that passionate death threats should not stop her. We had people who ACTUALLY put there life and career on the line to those beagles out of testing facilities she hasn’t done anything similar so my point still stands since she wants to play the morality Olympics

meat wasn’t “made” for us to eat though. Other animals existed long before humans so arguably it’s the other way around. Not vegan just an ecologist.

Sure, but to dismiss the massive power humans have as a species entirely dismantles your argument. and nothing was “MADE” for us to eat. All other species existed perfectly without us and without ruining ecosystems through overconsumption and misinformed beliefs about the “need” biologically for meat.

You’re missing the point.. every ecosystem is a cycle of predator and prey, we’re clearly not the prey and it’s ecologically normal for humans to eat meat when we’re biologically engineered to do so. You can choose to be vegan that’s great but it’s not inherently wrong to like meat

I didn’t say it was or wasn’t. I’m not ignorant to food web ecology but the commenter said meat “was made for us” which is just fundamentally wrong and speciesist and speaks to the power imbalance I mentioned which does play a part in how pervasive unnecessary meat consumption is in society.
