In the 2000s there were Disney teen idols marketed to preteens, Hilary, HSM cast, Miley, Jonas Brothers etc. and during their time on Disney and their teen peek they had lots of preteen fans. Today, who are the preteens into? Although only thing I can think of are KPop artists.

Idk I'm 30 so I grew up with that stuff too and the xtina/pussycat dolls/etc was fun but something has definitely shifted in allowing teens to be teens - teen pregnancy rates have been dropping steadily for years, and my sibs-in-law are shocked when I explain that at their age I was hanging out with people in their mid 20s and drinking (there's worse but i haven't told them)
