A lot of girls, me included, are conservative. You just don’t see a whole lot of us on social media, but you would see quite a few of us in crowds at universities speaking with Charlie Kirk in support of him. I had a ticket to go see him and actually debate him next month because I didn’t fully agree on his abortion stance :/ Sorry to bring him up a bit out of the blue, that’s just an example of the types of space we’re mainly in rather than online. I’m one of the very few who actually waste
I think we were, but the mix of a pandemic, trying to adjust back to society afterwards while our brains are still developing, and the lack of community today’s society brings are all very confusing to navigate and some people fall into right leaning agendas because they have more “established” structures
Fellow formerly-leftist conservative girlie! Yeah I’ve kind of given up on social media because it’s soo bad for my mental health. Catch me at church instead of making political tiktoks lol. Most other conservative girls I know are busy establishing their careers (soooo many doctors) or starting their families, or both.
everyone is a product of their environment, no matter the gender. you had female spies during the civil war on both sides for example. how come, in your mind, men can come to their own conclusions about what they are willing to accept and believe but women aren’t? i really encourage you to take a hard look at yourself and your own beliefs about how women think
also I think EVERYONE is sick of the clout chasing and rude type of people that use being a leftist on the internet and excuse to be horrible to other people, but some people don’t know how to separate from them and stand in their own morals without fully turning conservative, could be environment/parents etc. I find the most genuine liberals and leftists IRL most internet discourses are so redundant, it’s just people who like to argue for attention on both sides
