it looks bad, its extremely small, the price vs the amount of gameplay is extremely disproportionate, they locked content behind dlc for no reason, and the pokedex is the smallest since gen 1. its an inferior version of legends arceus in every way shape and form but people defend it because of mega evolution and because people defend pokemon for everything for some reason. this game shouldve just been a dlc for the amount of content present or been sold at $40 tops, if it was then its fine

theres literally 20 worlds, hundreds of pokemon to shiny hunt and ranked to play. dlc is coming out in weeks to expand the dex and competitive. what are you comllaing about? windows? game loads super fast i dont care about a flat window in the background

there is one small city, 231 pokemon (smallest since gen 1), ranked is limited time and you cant even play it right now, and dlc shouldve been base game since it was this close to completion. the game should load fast at baseline, look at every other title on the switch. it has a bad art direction so the game looks awful. the only remotely appealing thing is the pokemon models but everything else looks horrendous. arceus has arguably worse graphics but it actually looks good because of the style

i told you what im complaining about but you are choosing to ignore it for some reason. its not a $70 game and feels like a dlc rather than an actual entry. if you want to actually argue about this then i will talk about it but if you are going to continue acting ignorant for no reason then congratulations on proving every stereotype right. just keep on consooming and im sure it will get better

the characters and story are good, thats exactly why i didnt criticize it. the shiny hunting is honestly bad from the rarity perspective since its about as easy as scarlet and violet but if you dont care about that then whatever. the shiny charm grind is actually awful though dude the 1000 battles sucked. again, competitive doesnt even exist right now and if you dont believe me then try playing. again, the dlc shouldve been base game since it was this close to completion. keep consooming

assuming there is more dlc then no thats fine since it wasnt close to completion, thats an awful gotcha. the online should be free though since nintendo has good awful servers and they had free online with the same level of servers for years. and yes the game shouldve been $40 it has less content than some game dlcs

im complaining about the fact that you have to pay money for a service with constant lag. have you actually tried playing anything online? mariokart lags constantly, smash is borderline unplayable, mario maker is actually unplayable

sv the best competitive because tera was introduced. za is great because it took arguably one of the worst unbalanced mechanics and made it balanced thanks to the game being real time rather than turn based. constant improvement

people are still learning the meta. speed is actually relevant on glass cannons with long recharge moves and stall has been used with guys like umbreon. dragon/steel/fairy is just the current fire/water/grass core

speed is not relevant since it has a maximum decrease to a 3 second move cooldown and isnt worth the investment over bulk since the animation times of the moves remain constant. you will just die during the animation if you dont invest into bulk which is why people just go 252 hp and 252 into whatever attack stat it uses. also i have never seen an umbreon online since it would instantly get targeted and destroyed by xerneas or gardevoir

or i can just use a gardevoir and one shot with a plus move. the only weird pokemon i use is mega beedrill and i have to be extremely cautious with him since he dies in one hit. the competitive is extremely unbalanced without turns so i really dont understand your point with this

game came out before christmas, they want to make sure it still sells for christmas as well. they'll release more dlc for pokemon day too i presume. its nothing unusual. the story still complete without it. looking forward to more

dude no its not. the art style is worse, the battle system is worse, the story is worse, the game is significantly smaller, arceus had you actually use the pokemon like for flying and climbing, and the challenges were more fun in arceus. the only advantages za has is megas, trainer battles, and online
