totally agreed, I wish they'd do starters that evolved at like 35 and 55 sometime (or more)

I think there should be a cap though, waiting until level 64 for a Hydreigon was rough, especially since I wanted it before postgame

Yeah I can see that, honestly overall I wish the game pushed you to evolve further. Not saying you need to max everyone out at 100 or anything, but the last couple gyms, league or elite four should encourage you to level up beyond 50-60s

No that’s exactly how I feel. That’s why I love playing fan games that have higher levels for those fights. It allows me to go through a full journey with my Pokémon
