What I did when I decided to start my porygon line master set was use the energy cards as placeholders to write what set/variant of each card I’d need

Give them to kids to get them hooked on pokemon cards. My babysitter did this to me when I was little and I’ve been a fiend for these things ever since.

i used to give cards to the kid i nannied for 5 years ago when i was freshly 18 😭 the regret of giving my 2010s cards away makes me so sad

Oof, my babysitter would give me candy cigarettes and pokemon cards all the time. He was on the spectrum and I think that was his way of getting me into his special interest so he could pass it along to the next neurodivergent kid.
