1) there’s no battle facility 2) mints, hyper training, and exp candy/rare candies are obnoxiously abundant 3) unless you want to grind online battles or go to in person events, there’s no point in making a competitive team despite the ease of doing so because there’s nowhere to use it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t want to get spanked continuously online, at least in battle facilities you can win most of the time if you have a good team, which again is incredibly easy to make in SV
