It’s probably from top-watering it! Mold is pretty normal, I would break up the top of the soil by stirring, and sprinkle cinnamon on top, or some other natural anti-fungal. Bottom watering the plant will help to keep the top layer of soil dry, which can help prevent this!

Thanks so much! I ended up taking it apart and repotting with new soil and there was soooo much water between the 2 pots definitely over watered her!! thank you!!!
