why tf are thai constellation monsteras so expensive 😐 went to a store yesterday all the little babies were like $50-$70… and a huge fully grown one was $666👹 the ultimate urge to snip and prop went crazy but i left and didn’t get one

I work in my schools greenhouse and we have several specimens of Thai Constellation. Plants being “rare” is such BS, especially ones that propagate so readily. Not that I was a big houseplant person before but now seeing beloved expensive plants growing as weeds on our floor puts it into perspective.
