My ZZ plant has been dormant since I moved in to my apartment 3 years ago…no new growth at all, but nothing dying…checked it today and it’s shot up 3 new sprouts. I’m so excited y’all

That's exciting! My zz plant hasn't had any new growth since I got it :( and it's been over a year. Maybe mine will next year lol

I had one that wouldn’t grow and then I split it into two or three different pots and now they all have new sprouts!!

Nah. If you get it in decent light and don’t overwater, it’s very simple. At least in my experience

They’re the easiest plants I’ve taken care of. I’ve kept them alive in a dorm room and my bedroom both near a window and a bit farther from it and they flourish

Very easy. Prone to overwatering though, since they will get root rot easily. Mine is happy with watering once every other week
