Trying to grow a corn plant as a houseplant is really more like watching a corn plant grow up sick and disabled and slowly die. Full sun annual crops just can’t live indoors. You will probably have better luck with herbs like sage, basil, etc. as long as your window light is bright, and your possibly willing to get a grow lamp.
