Anyone have a recommendation for a half decent grow light for a dorm room? Specifically for like a desk.

Hey! I actually have a globe lamp that I put a grow light bulb in so it got some extra light in the winter and when I was studying. Also if your dorm has fluorescent lighting the plant can get some light from that. The fluorescent lights emit a blue light wave length that can be beneficial to the plants.

#1 has a great idea probably best for a dorm desk For me I use something like this, and put plants on the shelf above my desk, and this clips onto the shelf

This is a lamp similar to mine. I put the grow light bulb that I bought from Lowe’s in it so both me and my plant could benefit from it. I have two other bigger plants with the same bulbs above them in hanging lamps and they’re doing great.

I think this is the exact one I got. It’s more of a pink light than a harsh blue light.
