Okay I’ve treated my plants multiple times and isolated the new ones, but I still have a gnat problem… what can I do to get rid of them I am desperate.. is it worth getting a butterworts plants ???
When I had a gnat problem the only thing that got rid of them was completely changing out all their soil and getting bug traps 😭 but there might be an easier way

If you have leaf shine, spray it on the soil. It’s like 75/25, but we it’s what we do at work lol

Stop treating, get a soil that drains better (aka not miracle grow), and only water once the soil is dry ~1/3 of the way down or ~3 inches down if the pot is over 6-8 inches wide.

Is it nuts, or aphids? If it's a fit then you look for ants taking care of the eggs and you kill the ants

Be careful w diatomaceous earth. Wear a mask and don’t leave it out where you breathe. Gave me sinus ulcers.

Fungus gnats LOVE wet soil and are often a sign of overwatering, which has nothing to do how often you water and has everything to do with how long the soil is wet for.

It worked for me. Along with adding sand to my soil so it doesn’t hold water as long
