as long as the stem is submerged in water and it’s not dying just let it be! they live in anything and more than likely will sprout new growth soon

I’ve had that happen before, they can just be stubborn sometimes/go dormant — just keep it in water and hopefully it should eventually start rooting. Maybe try a different location?

I’ve got two that I’ve propagated, maybe trim the stem just a little more and cut it at an angle?😊

If you have it in a window, leave it in a way darker space, (roots literally grow away from light)

I had it in very little light the first few days then I put it with my other plants that get light from my plant lights for 8hrs a day

hmmm. my current pothos propagations are in bright indirect light and have been growing for months now - i also live in texas. i have to add water often but i also mist the leaves every other day. the stems are completely submerged until the first leave stems off
