That’s so sweet! I have plenty of tips from having them, I have a rough collection of about 10+ of them (I haven’t counted in a while) but I do a large group watering of them every once in awhile with warm water. They quite like it. If it doesn’t have a plastic pot inside the decorative pot, I recommend one heavily so the roots don’t get too much water. Repot me has great pre mixed potting mix!
Grow lights are great when it’s winter, but natural sunlight is great. Make sure the orchid can see the sun but the sun can’t see the orchid. The leaves might discolor When your bloom die, cut above the next new node for it continue to grow new arms but if dies back, just cut it back! And it’ll regrow eventually in a new spot. When you cut it back, you can fertilize them. Waiting until the blooms die off is best for fertilizer
If you have any rot in the rots, unpot it and sanitize a pair of shears with isopropyl alcohol and cut the rot back. Make a diluted mix of water and alcohol to spay onto the rotted areas, it helps a lot and keep an eye on it! I also watched a YouTube channel called MissOrchidGirl and PlantswithKrystal (this one I watch a lot more often) but a ton of useful information is available too if I missed something!
