i think people are tired of being told to remember one of the most memorable major events to occur on american soil. especially since it was used to rationalize decades of slaughter, rape, torture, imperialism, sacrifice of soldiers, etc etc etc. it's been a quarter century and we're finally "done" in the regions we destroyed over the attack. i think most of us would like to move on. most people on this app didn't have the capacity for memory, or weren't even born when it happened. it's tired
