So i have a Eos canon R100 mirrorless camera, and i want to take pictures of the milkyway, but anytime i try, they end up like this, what am i doing wrong?

It is out of focus - use manual focus and focus on the farthest point possible

The settings i did was iso 1600, aperture 4.5 (the lowest my camera goes) and shutter 15-20, the lens is 18mm-45, its just the stock lens, i did use a tripod, and i did manual mode, i tried focusing it, but i couldn’t see anything to focus it on😅
