honestly i dont even know how to mask i did this using things like hue chroma and playing with shadows and saturation i definitely need to learn how to do that stuff tho i may do a re edit of this one

Okay let me put you onto Affinity. It's like photoshop, illustrator, and indesign but better ngl and it's completely free. I like it better than gimp but I also haven't used gimp in over a decade so I can't say how the v3 compares. It used to be called Affinity Photo and it was almost identical to photoshop but it was a pay $50 once business model rather that adobe's nonsense, and then Canvas bought it and renovated it and made it free

I used to only use photoshop for AI border expansion but now affinity has that too. Only caveat is that the AI part is subscription based
