we live in the 2020s. sentiment in favor of US military power is literally inextricable from support for violent imperialism, this has been true for decades at this point. the context of the original photo doesn’t mean glorification of US military imagery gets to exist in a good-natured vacuum. it still functions as insidious nationalist propaganda and you are quite clearly slurping that shit up. educate your own self on semiotics perhaps!
