As I geospatial kind of person I feel like I should point out #1’s question could have been foundational if either you OP (taking the picture) or the bear (striking the vogue pose) was across the border in Vermont and the light from the photograph bounced back and forth across said border. It’s the conceptual equivalent of Schrödinger’s cat, only the bear is alive and shitting in the woods across conceptual lines humans utilize for statecraft.

Also #1… I reckon we’ve reached a point where we can put quotes around anything for emphasis because autocorrect turned people into robots so it’s actually idiosyncrasies in grammar that show your talking to a human rather than an AI bot. The grammar of humanity is evolving. 🙂

I don’t agree with this. You might have a point if there was any rhyme or reason to the quotes, but there clearly wasn’t. Quotes do not express emphasis. If anything, asterisks would. This is like giving a 3rd grader extra points on a written assignment for misspelling words because “at least it’s not AI.” It’s simply not evolution. And even if it was evolution, an AI chatbot would simply be able to follow suit if it wanted to.

You make a valid point but I was totally an idiot when I wrote this, it actually was in Vermont, I was following the Connecticut River and jumping across sides all day, but this was definitely in Vermont

There’s several religions, but I’m familiar mostly with the biblical stories where God has animals deliver things to humans. (This isn’t an Elijah and the bears situation I’m pretty sure) I’m not sure what this situation means to you in the grand scheme of things, but it’s definitely far enough outside the statistical norm that it probably means something 🧐
