What’s a good starter camera if you’re just getting into photography?

People knock it but genuinely something like a canon rebel t7, it’s not worth getting something expensive at first and all you need is a decent lens, ability to shoot in raw and something to edit with

whatever you can afford tbh. i like sony bc there’s lots of third party lens options that are cheaper. look into apsc vs full frame. also buy used if you need to. Jason Vong and Julia Trotti are good YTbers to check out for product recommendations n teaching you how to learn to take good photos/composition/settings

Get a used full frame slr + a budget 50mm 1.8 (nifty fifty). Even an old 5D II is decent and cheap these days.

I started with a Kodak pixpro! A lot of digital zoom, less quality than others but still really good for the price and still ofc good quality. Only issue I had was around the battery either getting stuck or some other issues

Nikon d5 mark ii. It’s an older camera, but if it was good enough to shoot Obama’s 2009 presidential portrait, it’ll do alright for a starter. Used and in good condition its only roughly $200 too!
