we’re struggling to get his insulin levels right and it’s just so upsetting doing everything the way we’re supposed to but my baby isn’t getting better :( i’ve cried so much today i know there’s an adjustment period but holy fuck this is hard

my sweet baby boy just got diagnosed with diabetes 🥺 grateful it’s something manageable instead of a million other worse possibilities, but it still hurts to be reminded that he’s getting older :( that’s my everything wdym he can’t live forever??

i think if he could understand what you’re doing for him, he’d only care that you’re trying to begin with :) the results don’t matter as much as the time he spends with you
