is it immoral to change an adult cats name? because i’ve always wanted to adopt an older or adult cat that’s been at the shelter for a while but i don’t like these guys names😭

You can keep their shelter name as a middle name!

I think most cats get new names at the shelter anyways so they might not even respond to that name yet so it should be fine in that case

I can confirm!! I work w a ton of shelters and rescues, they get new names!! Change them!!!
