Are they a rescue? I’m not super familiar with this breed so please correct me if I’m wrong but they look a bit underweight?

Greyhounds trend skinny, and senior animals tend to have trouble maintaining weight. The leg amputation looks somewhat recent— the shave is almost grown back in but you can still see it. If the dog was on cage rest following surgery, muscles may have shrunk from lack of use and would make her look even skinner. Medication may also impact appetite. I’d like to see a couple more pounds on this dog personally, but I am not the owner nor vet and I have no other context than this very short video

She is a rescue but like 9 years ago 😂 #3 is right greyhounds trend skinny and the amputation was the end of March. She is actually pretty small for a greyhound and at a good weight now around 50 pounds. It’s hard to tell her because she’s turning a lot but when she stands straight you can only see 3 ribs. :)

She is actually at a very good weight. She has arthritis so we have to keep it exact. :)

All good! She looks lovely. I am used to hanging around thicker greyhounds. Owners in my area tend to put extra chunk on them as extra insulation during the winter since we’re somewhat northern. I am happy to see she’s in wonderful hands. Please give her a smooch on her comically long snoot for me!
