 Not about my dog, but for those that don’t know, on this day in 1957 is the anniversary of the death of Laika the Space Dog that became the first dog to orbit the Earth. Scientists that worked on the experiment regret it. She is missed dearly🙏🏾

Cosmo the space dog is based off Laika, I believe. Unlike Laika, she survived the flight. She has a dog/human translator and she speaks in a high pitched Russian accent. She’s friends with Rocket raccoon.

That’s what pissed me off about them sending her to space and her dying then saying she died “shortly after launch” to sugarcoat it😔

They also said she was terrified to be up there since the lights and temperatures were freaking her out☹️ Poor girl died scared and alone
