I've combined my hate for corporate culture and capitalism with a realization that it's probably the only/best realistic solution... after putting those two in the blender I've come out with FIRE (Financial independence retire early).

I'm 25. Have a 630k net worth. Make 180k a year working at Amazon. Sleep on a mattress on the ground in a 600/mo attic rental unit from a divorced mom. I cook all my own food from bulk stuff I got from Costco, clothes I got from Goodwill, and drive an '08 Corolla

I got a bit lucky on a few investments, but I recently moved everything into target date low cost ratio ETFs

I've got my eye on a few farm plots for sale up north. By 30 I expect to have >2m and I plan to move out of Boston, start working a piece of land, and hopefully find a woman who wants to live that lifestyle with me and have kids. The money is for getting started on the land and retirement/security/college for my kids

I'm not religious, but I do recognize the value of community and behaving as though there is a god. When I think about Jesus I find it hard to believe the stories, but if it were true; I sure love Jesus and the lord for what they did for us. At a bare minimum the values are good for building a community and the stories are inspiring and powerful. I'd hope to be accepted into some sort of Christian community

Idk what to call this whole ideology I've developed. But if anyone has a name for it, lmk. I think it's just called "Fuck all this shit"
