It works just like any currency. Btw when I say crypto I mean BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL. Most coins are bullshit. But the big ones are useful especially btc and eth

Bitcoin works by being essentially an international currency that can be access by anyone with an internet connection. It’s designed to unaffected by inflation, so countries like El Salvador with bad inflation use it as legal tender because inflation in their countries is really bad. Additionally it allows anyone to participate in the market without the need for central banking. Where it helps people like you and me is mainly as a store of value, similar to gold but you can’t find any more
