Unless you’re sitting on $100k+ liquid, a typical financial advisor is just a middle-man taking a fat cut of your growth

I really think it’s depends, I inherited a lot of money recently and don’t know enough about the market to properly diversify my portfolio. I had a previous financial advisor but I got a new one who really helped me out and get into some private market deals. I’m learning more but not pro enough to handle it on my own

Best way is to teach yourself, cuz investing is a game of compounding. 1% means fuck all when you have $100 1% means a hell of a lot by the time you make your first million.

Stay safe out there. The research shows the private equity advantage has been waning. Now I mean if you want to invest in illiquid assets so you don't spend it I can see the appeal.
