The answer is Indiana! This is a picture of a meander of the Kankakee River. If the state never built a channel over the majority of it, it would look like this all the way to where it joins the Illinois River.

Looks too flat to be Kentucky and Ohio isn’t an option so I’m going with Indiana

Pretty flat looking and with a lot of seasonality already visible in the leaves. Clearly it’s already getting colder there. I think Indiana

Correctomundo! It’s the Kankakee River, rather a meander off of the channeled river.

Yep! It’s a bend of the Kankakee a few hundred feet from the channel. What they did to the river is unforgivable.

We also got some really good lake effect snow! Nothing too crazy at 1 foot, but definitely a nice treat!
