i think many individual professors are still trying to discourage it but on an institutional level it does seem like a lot of places have given up

Wait till u get to the workforce. Using AI basically becomes a requirement and your AI usage contributes to your performance evaluation. They want and expect you to use it as much as possible.

Most profs said they don’t care if you use it as a helping tool but I’ve had assignments where we had to write an entire paper using chatgpt

depends what it’s used for, many of my professors encourage using AI for learning or checking answers but not for obtaining answers ofc

i feel that, personally one of my professors wont even let us take notes in class bc she thinks we can just “use ai for everything” and encourages it on hw specifically
