No, he would have not been as bad as Trump maybe, but he still would have been really terrible for the US

He’s certainly better than trump on immigration at least. Also he likely wouldn’t have won the general election. But the point isn’t that jeb bush or Hilary Clinton would have been good presidents. The point is that trump never hijacks the Republican Party and dominates American politics
