If you asked me this in HS I would’ve said 80s. Right now though my favorite time for music is late 60s- early 70s, if I had to choose though IMO the 70s was the best overall music decade. There was just so much variety, and it was especially a great time for rock music. It’s really close though for me bc I think the 70's had the most great songs of any decade, but the 60's had the best songs (again, just IMO). Music changed more in the '60s than in any other decade, & I find that fascinating.
